🚀 Registration process
💡 Step 1: Slot order
Each team’s captain or institutional representative registers for their team slots through GMA website.
Make sure the right number of teams/ judges are selected, especially if you are sending multiple teams. You will find an Order Number (E.g. #2150) in your account’s order history after completing the payment. Save the number for Step 2 later.
💡 Step 2: Individual details
Once a team slot is confirmed, an individual details form will be sent to the team representative. Each team’s affiliate debaters and judges should use the Order Number from Step 1 on their forms. Everyone should submit one form independently.

🦩 Pro-Am break criteria
The Pro-Ams division is open to both school and university debaters, including participants from outside Taiwan. To qualify for the Pro-Ams break, a team must consist of at least two novice (Am) debaters.
In order to be considered as an Am, participants must meet all the following criteria:
Have fewer than two open breaks as a speaker.
Have less than two years of debating experience.
Have not achieved a speaker or judge break at a major tournament (e.g., WSDC, WUDC, ABP, UADC, Australs, NEADC etc.)

📋 Registration Policy
There is no “N-judge requirement” for teams to sign up for TIDO. Instead, a portion of registration fee will be used to fly in experienced international judges. This way we can best ensure the quality of the adjudication pool throughout the competition.
Only one representative from each team needs to submit this form. For institutions sending multiple teams, still only one representative needs to do so.
Early registration runs until March 14. Regular registration runs until April 11.
Half refund is allowed before March 20, after which no refund is allowed.
Option A.) 🐬Full Package Includes 2 nights (Friday to Sunday) of accommodation, transportation to the venue, and meals during the tournament, break luncheon, certificates, and awards.
All-time registration:
– Per Debater: 7,200 TWD/ 230 USD
– Per Judge: 5,800 TWD/ 185 USD
– Per Observer: 5,800 TWD/ 185 USD
Option B.) 🦘International Simple Package Includes meals during the tournament, break luncheon, certificates, and awards. For international participants not based in Taiwan.
Option C.) 🦔Domestic Simple Package Includes meals during the tournament, break luncheon, certificates, and awards. For domestic participants based in Taiwan.
